REVIEW: Snap Series 1 Cranks

The guys at Tokyo Fixed were kind enough to supply me with a set of these little bad boys:

The Series 1 Snap Fixed Gear Crankset. Basically, they look amazing when used with a matching Snap Chainring:

Maybe not the stiffest cranks in the world, but then again they will probably never be fitted to a track racing bike either. If you don’t ride track every week, these will be fine for you. They are light, good looking and fairly reasonably priced considering the grade of craftsmanship involved.

One thing to note is that these need double chainring bolts to hold the chainring securely. The spider arms are just too thick for single chainring bolts.
